Golf Schools at Bear Mountain Golf Academy

The Bear Mountain Golf Academy offers co-ed schools and Women-Only Schools, all designed to help golfers of every skill level and with all parts of the game. If you are looking to improve, you will find a golf school to fit your present level of play and goals for the future.

John and Lori believe that everyone can learn to play better golf and get more enjoyment from his or her game. In order to help their students, they have developed a teaching style that is easy to understand and effective for all abilities of golfers.

2 Day Golf Schools

5 Day Golf Schools

All Golf Schools include:

  • Groups with a maximum of four students per instructor
  • At least 3 hours of instruction per day
  • 18 holes of golf each day with a GPS equipped power cart
  • Lunch each day
  • State-of-the-art video analysis with a complete school summary sent via the Internet

Five-Day Schools

Our Five-Day Golf School is our most comprehensive. This school provides seventeen hours of golf instruction including lots of on-course time with your instructor, three rounds of golf and unlimited practice privileges. Only the serious student should apply. Schools include:

  • 17 hours of instruction with a maximum of three other golfers at a similar skill level
  • Golf Mental Assessment – completed before your arrival
  • 2 Hours of on-course instruction with John on Days Three and Day
  • Unlimited practice balls and use of short game facilities on the days of your school
  • State-of-the-art video analysis with a personalized lesson review
  • Lunch 4 days in our restaurant overlooking the golf course
  • 18 holes of golf with power cart on Days 2, 3, and 5 on either the Valley or Mountain courses
  • The Academy “Welcome Gift”

  • Personalized practice plan for lasting improvement

Three-Day Schools

Our Three-Day Golf School is our most popular school. Ten hours of golf instruction including on-course time with your instructor, two rounds of golf and all the practice balls you can handle. Schools include:

  • 10 hours of instruction with a maximum of three other golfers at a similar skill level
  • Golf Mental Assessment – completed before your arrival
  • Two-hour playing lesson on Day Three with John
  • Unlimited practice balls and use of short game facilities on the days of your school
  • State-of-the-art video analysis with a personalized lesson review
  • Lunch on Days 2 and 3 in our restaurant overlooking the golf course
  • 18 holes with power cart on Days 2 and 3 either of the Mountain or Valley Courses

Our two-day schools focus on either the long game OR the short game. Offering six hours of golf instruction, you are sure to get quick and lasting improvement. Schools include:

  • Unlimited practice balls and use of short game facilities on the days of your school
  • Long Game Schools provide state-of-the-art video analysis with a personalized lesson review via the Internet

  • 18 holes of golf with power cart each day on our award winning, Nicklaus Design courses
