John and Lori Randle Launch New Bear Mountain Golf Academy at Bear Mountain Resort

March 25, 2010, Victoria, BC. Well known Canadian PGA instructors John and Lori Randle, and Bear Mountain Resort are proud to announce the opening of the new Bear Mountain Golf Academy. Effective immediately, John and Lori will be offering their popular lessons and golf schools under the umbrella of the Bear Mountain Golf Academy. “Lori and I are thrilled to be able to bring our instructional programs and our students to this world class Resort,” explains John Randle, a Victoria native with 25 years of experience who in 1997 transitioned his seven year pro-career into a highly successful coaching and teaching career. “Anchoring the Bear Mountain Golf Academy is really an extraordinary opportunity for us and for our students. The practice facilities are superb, and to be able to work with the only Canadian resort to offer 36 holes of Nicklaus Design golf makes this truly an unparalleled teaching and learning experience.”

Lori couldn’t agree more. “The Bear Mountain Golf Academy has a vibrant community to support the golf schools featuring first class accommodation, fabulous restaurants, a state of the art gym and plenty of amazing outdoor recreational opportunities – all of these are huge compliments to any family or corporate golf experience. We see a great future for golf development at Bear Mountain and this is extremely exciting for us.”

The new Bear Mountain Golf Academy offers a variety of golf schools and lesson programs designed to help golfers of every skill level and with all parts of the game.

“It is such a privilege for us to have John and Lori join us to launch the Bear Mountain Golf Academy,” said Shayne Dysart, Director of Golf at Bear Mountain Resort. “They are widely and formally recognized for their teaching excellence and they have a huge following that we are proud to welcome to Bear Mountain. Anyone looking to improve their game or simply learn the game – young and old – John and Lori have the formula for success. They love the game and they are extraordinary teachers who are recognized year after year for excellence among their national peers.”

As a special for being a Randle Golf student, Bear Mountain has put together an enticing offer. When you book your first lesson with John or Lori at Bear Mountain, in addition to improving your golf game, you will receive a voucher giving you 2 for 1 golf at either of Bear Mountain's fabulous courses and 5 free buckets of practice balls to fine tune your swing. A little fine print - your lessons must be booked before April 30th, 2010 and the rounds must be played before May 15th, 2010.

In addition to the programs John and Lori are bringing with them, this new partnership will also allow the development of some exciting new ideas. Women’s only schools with spa visits and lots of relaxation time will be available in late spring. The already popular Bear Cub Camps will be expanded to include more activities and an exciting partnership with Nike Golf lead to a world-class club fitting experience.
