An Evening With Sandhill

Join Executive Chef Iain Rennie and Sommelier Stuart Brown as they welcome Master Wine Maker, Howard Soon of Sandhill wines. Experience the culinary mastery of Chef Iain Rennie showcased in perfect harmony with the exquisite wines of Howard Soon.

Born in 1952, Soon was raised amid the 1960’s hippie culture of Vancouver’s Kitsilano. He studied Biochemistry at UBC and Business Administration at the University of Manitoba. Following five years with Labatt’s Brewing Company in Winnipeg, Soon moved to the Okanagan Valley in 1980 to begin his winemaking career. In 1997, he was awarded his most prestigious assignment – SANDHILL.
