Bear Mountain Resort Wins Prestigious International Property Award

The New York Times sponsored CNBC International Property Awards has just announced that Bear Mountain Resort, in Langford B.C. has won two of the three prestigious Americas Awards in the Best Property Marketing category for their 2008 'Shocking' (St. Andrews Walk condominium advertising campaign) and their 2008 'Live Like A...' (Finlayson Reach condominium advertising campaign).

Entries from around the world were judged by a panel of international real estate, advertising, publishing and business executives headed by Eric Pickles, Shadow Secretary of State for Great Britain, Helen Shield, Editor in Chief International Homes Magazines, Imtiaz Farookhi, Chief Executive of the National Building Council, Christopher Hall, President of the National Association of Estate Agents (ICREA), Kirkor Adjerhanyan, French Real Estate Federation, Diana Yakely, Chairman British Interior Design Association.

The International Property Awards were first established in 1995. The premier independent programme is one of the biggest property awards in the world and now receives entries from 56 different countries. In addition to media sponsors such as CNBC, The New York Times, and The Daily Mail, other sponsors have included Jaguar, HSBC, Mercedes Benz, Bentley Motors and Aston Martin.

This year's awards will be presented at a Gala Event on November 7th in Orlando Florida at the Ritz Carlton.
