Notice to Visitors
ALL persons, including U.S. citizens, traveling by air between the United States and Canada will require one of the following pieces of identification:
- a valid passport,
- an Air NEXUS card,
- a U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Document, or
- an Alien Registration Card.
As early as January 1st, 2008 all visitors to Canada, regardless of transportation method, will require a valid passport.

For
citizens arriving from countries other than the United States, a valid
passport is required to enter Canada. For further information regarding
entering Canada as a visitor, and a list of which countries require a
