Skechers Performance Announced as Official Footwear Partner of the 2017 Pacific Links Bear Mountain Championship
Posted on April 20, 2017VICTORIA, BC (April 20, 2017) – Pacific Links Bear Mountain Championship tournament organizers are proud to announce their partnership with Skechers Performance Canada, a division of SKECHERS USA, Inc. (NYSE: SKX), as the Official Footwear Partner of the 2017 PGA TOUR Champions Event. Skechers Performance is a global footwear leader, with a growing presence on the professional level with elite golfers such as Canada’s own Brooke Henderson, as well as Matt Kuchar, Russell Knox, and 2016 Pacific Links Bear Mountain Championship winner, Colin Montgomerie, all representing Skechers GO GOLF.
The partnership will see Skechers Performance footwear showcased on-site throughout event week, in addition to attendee engagement. Skechers Performance will have a presence in the Spectator Village as well as on the 18th hole, where golf fans will be able to learn more about the brand’s footwear lines, and try on different products in a Skechers Performance experiential space. Skechers Performance will also provide Skechers GO GOLF and lifestyle footwear to each amateur player teeing it up in the Pacific Links Bear Mountain Championship Official Pro-Ams.

The Pacific Links Bear Mountain Championship will once again be played at The Westin Bear Mountain Golf Resort & Spa the week of Monday, September 11th – Sunday, September 17th, 2017. Tournament week will commence with Official Pro-Ams on Wednesday and Thursday, where participating teams will play alongside a PGA TOUR Champions professional over 18 holes of premiere golf. Competitive action will follow with 54 holes of championship play from Friday to Sunday, with no cut.
