The same efforts have gone into shaping the newest neighbourhoods. As part of the masterplan, The Riviera neighbourhood is underway. It consists of 15 single-family lots with stunning golf course and Mount Finlayson views. Other lots in The Riviera sit nestled in the privacy created by the Goldstream Park trees bordering the property.

To enhance and protect the values of neighbouring homes, satisfy the demand for new, higher quality homes and to attract the best of builders to the community, Bear Mountain introduced a ‘Designated Builder’ strategy for lot sales in Phase 1 of the Single Family lots in the area.

A group of high-quality, like-minded builders were invited to build out the Bear Mountain neighbourhood. These respected builders brought their proven reputation for quality and design to the community. They committed to building custom homes for end users or built homes to high-end specifications, demonstrating the quality of their fine workmanship. The Homebuyers gained a tangible understanding of the value of the neighbourhood and the security of their investment.

The Riviera neighbourhood will also be built out under the Designated Builder’s Program. Through the program, the Designated Builders work together to ensure neighbouring homes in Bear Mountain’s emerging neighbourhoods complement one another with respect to street scape, sense of scale and mass, curb-appeal and quality.

The 15 single-family residential lots in The Riviera will be made available to Purchasers seeking lots for their dream home as well as to the Designated Builders. The Builders have the option to build a custom home for a Purchaser or to build a home to completion for those who prefer a completed home without being involved with the building process.

The Designated Builder Program works as follows: buyers of lots in The Riviera will choose one of the builders identified in the Program, anyone interested in a particular lot already committed to by a builder will need to work with that particular builder.

Marketing initiatives to attract traffic to Bear Mountain will directly benefit Builder’s selling their homes. This collaborative effort includes a Bear Mountain website with tools (a site map with specific information on each of the single family lots including renderings, floor plans, and builder information on their finished home for each lot) that will provide increased exposure to the Builder and their homes. The same information will be available at the Bear Mountain Sales Office and via email, providing potential buyers of a new home at Bear Mountain direct access to the Designated Builders. The exclusive nature of this relationship is extremely beneficial to the buyer.

The Designated Builder Program affords buyers the opportunity to have input on the design and provide creative ideas for custom homes. Lot purchasers can look forward to Designated Builders achieving their dream home.
