Jeff was born and raised on Vancouver Island in the little town of Metchosin. He has always had a passion for sports and fitness which led him to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports and Fitness Leadership, over that time Jeff obtained his Personal Training certification from the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology. Most recently he obtained his Fascial Stretch Therapy level 1 designation to help clients work through injuries and limited mobility. Jeff has always been fascinated with the functional movements of the body which led him to pursue further studies. Jeff is currently in year one of Osteopathy school and is taking the Master’s Certificate in Sports Nutrition. With his current areas of study, Jeff hopes to implement a holistic multifaceted approach to helping clients achieve their goals. In his spare time Jeff likes to cook, bike, run and hike with his dog.
As a former competitive and professional figure skater, Chanelle was conditioned to living a healthy lifestyle. She realized that to maintain that same balance was difficult as she got older, that’s when she decided to pursue a career in the wellness industry.
After graduating in 2014 from the Pacific Institute of Sports Excellence with a diploma in Sports Performance, Chanelle decided to take her love for health and fitness further and enrolled at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. After completing the 1-year advanced program at CSNN and receiving a diploma in Holistic Nutrition, she is now a Registered Holistic Nutritionist.
Chanelle is also BCRPA certified for group, weight and personal training and enjoys being able to share her passion, knowledge and experience with clients to help them reach their optimal health goals. She believes in a teaching approach, whether it’s to heal from an illness, gain or lose weight, or to simply achieve a more balanced life. Chanelle is here to help guide you along your journey so that you can be confident in succeeding and maintaining your nutrition and fitness regime.
Robert has been involved in multiple sports and fitness endeavours for over 5 decades. As well, he’s explored various styles of the martial arts since his teenage years through to obtaining his Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and Honorary Karate Black Belt in the 1990’s. He has continued to explore other martial arts styles such as Qi Gong and Tai Chi, culminating in a three month trip to Shandong Province, China in the winter of 2017/2018 to study traditional Shaolin Kung Fu.
Throughout his extensive professional career, Robert has worked in the wilderness within Western Canada as a Soils Specialist and Land Use Expert. He has now combined those two disciplines with his passion for fitness and wants to inspire Baby Boomers, through to Millennials, who may have been sedentary for many years, to “get off the couch”, improve their fitness level and get out and enjoy the outdoors in our beautiful province. This is especially the case as his relatives, friends and business associates are aging along with him and many suffer health related issues due to a variety of reasons, but mostly due to sedentary lifestyles and entrenched thought processes regarding the human body and its needs to continue healthy activities as they age.
Robert is a Fitness Trainer and Nutrition Specialist, certified by the American Council on Exercise, based in San Diego, California. He is also certified as a trainer by Infofit Fitness College and a Level 1 Coach with Restore Human both based in Vancouver, BC.
Lynda has been active in various fitness activities for 25 years and found her passion when she became involved in Pilates and Yoga, two fitness activities which complement each other. As a certified Pilates Instructor, Yoga Instructor, Personal Trainer (including weight training) and a Certified Nutrition Advisor, Lynda’s belief is to lead a healthy, balanced lifestyle, which includes both fitness and nutrition. Pilates emphasizes the importance of correct posture and core strength; Yoga increases flexibility, muscle strength and mind-body connection and nutrition ensures the body has the nutrients required for wellbeing, and energy. Lynda also has a background in Ergonomics, which brings a unique dimension to her fitness and personal training classes. Lynda also has training in Ergonomics bringing a unique dimension to her fitness classes and personal training. Lynda has many other skills, Spin, Zumba, Cardio Kick boxing, Stotts Pilates Reformer, Zen Ga, Therapeutic Yoga, Barre and Essentrics. Lynda draws on elements from Stotts, Pilates, Yoga, Weight training and Nutrition to provide a complete balance for every “Body”.
Lynda believes that Personal Training is an important aspect of fitness and helps one gain more from a fitness class.
