Jeff Conway-Jones

Jeff was born and raised on Vancouver Island in the little town of Metchosin. Growing up playing competitive basketball, he always had a passion for sports and fitness which led him to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports and Fitness Leadership. Over that time, Jeff obtained his Personal Training certification from the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology.

Jeff has always been fascinated with functional movements of the body which led him to further pursue studies in this field. Recently he has obtained his Fascial Stretch Therapy Level 1 designation to help clients work through injuries and limited mobility. Jeff is currently in his first year at the Canadian School of Osteopathy and is taking a Master’s Certificate in Sports Nutrition.

With his current areas of study, Jeff hopes to implement a holistic multifaceted approach to help his clients achieve their health goals. He hopes that his diverse knowledge and perspectives of health and fitness could help benefit anyone pursuing a lifestyle change.

Chanelle Biggan

As a former competitive and professional figure skater, Chanelle was conditioned to live a healthy lifestyle. As she got older, she realized the power and necessity of overall health, and started to pursue a career in the wellness industry.

After graduating in 2014 from the Pacific Institute of Sports Excellence with a diploma in Sports Performance, Chanelle decided to take her love for health and fitness further and enrolled at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. After completing the 1-year advanced program at CSNN and receiving a diploma in Holistic Nutrition, she is now a Registered Holistic Nutritionist.

Chanelle is also BCRPA certified for group, weight and personal training and enjoys being able to share her passion, knowledge and experience with clients to help them reach their optimal health goals. She believes in a teaching approach, whether it’s to heal from an illness, gain or lose weight, or to simply achieve a more balanced lifestyle. Chanelle is here to help guide you along your journey so that you can be more confident in succeeding and maintaining your nutrition and fitness regime.

Lynda Lafond

Over the last 25 years, Lynda has been active in many fitness activities, but she found her passion in the complementing practices of Pilates and Yoga.

Lynda’s belief is to lead a healthy balanced lifestyle, which includes both fitness and nutrition. She demonstrates this belief with her diverse knowledge as a certified Pilates and Yoga Instructor, Personal Trainer and a Certified Nutrition Advisor. Lynda also has a background in Ergonomics, which adds a unique dimension to her fitness and personal training classes.

Pilates emphasizes the importance of proper posture and core strength; Yoga increases flexibility, muscle strength and mind-body connection and nutrition ensures that the body has the nutrients required for wellbeing and energy.  Additionally, Lynda has diverse experience in the following group fitness classes: Spin, Zumba, Cardio Kick boxing, Stotts Pilates Reformer, Zen Ga, Therapeutic Yoga, Barre and Eccentrics. Lynda draws on elements from Stotts, Pilates, Yoga, Weight training and Nutrition to provide a complete balance for every-“body”.

Fascial Stretch Therapy™

The fascia is connective tissue that surrounds individual muscles, muscle groups and joints, and is further interconnected via “lines.” FST works on the fascia via gentle to moderate stretching techniques focused on these lines. We teach you how to maintain optimal fascial flexibility after we identify & eliminate the problems. The treatment is mostly performed with the client on the table and is quite relaxing. Clients can notice flexibility and pain improvements within 1-3 sessions.
