TINY TOT GROUPS

This is for future champions, ages of 4, 5, 6 and 7. We use special half court tennis equipment to help make this a great experience.

Groups run once per week for 1 hour.

Group Fee for the month (4 weeks): $75 / members, $90 /guests & non-members

JUNIOR RECREATIONAL GROUPS

Our Recreational Junior Groups are for ages of 8 to 14 years of age. It’s designed for juniors who are being introduced to the game and want to have fun. We use special progressive tennis equipment to increase our students success and make this a great experience.

Groups run once per week for 1 hour.

Group Fee for the month (4 weeks): $75 / members, $90 /guests & non-members

JUNIOR COMPETITIVE PROGRAM

Our “Competitive” junior program is designed for juniors ages 8 to 12 and is meant to feed the top players into the Performance Program. Training is be available in a group environment, offering a year-long commitment. Maximum 4/1 coach/student ratio.

Training is available two times per week, in a group environment, offering a year-long commitment. Maximum 8 per group, 2 coaches.

Training times: Tuesdays 6pm to 8pm, Thursdays 6pm to 8pm

Training fees: For members, payment of training fees will be charged on a monthly basis, applied to their membership account. For non-members, payment of training fees will be invoiced on a monthly basis, payments can be made at the Pro Shop. All fees + 5% GST.

Attendance and Avoidance Policies;

Once you’re registered and have been accepted into the program, your spot is reserved for you. If you are unable to attend due to illness or other commitments you will still be charged for the lesson(s) missed. The only exception to the rule is for tennis tournament matches. You must notify Sean Hartley a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the tournament and you will not be charged for the lesson(s) missed due to tournament matches.

Registration is by application. Members of BMTC will receive acceptance priority over non-members. You may submit an application by contacting Head Professional, Sean Hartley sean.hartley@westinbearmountain.com

JUNIOR PERFORMANCE PROGRAM

Our “Performance” program is designed for those juniors who have the dreams and desire to achieve top Provincial and National Levels. The most important quality that these youngsters must have is “Commitment!” Our Junior “Performance Program”, is designed for players with tennis being their “Primary Sport”. Registration and participation will only be accepted on a “Seasonal Basis”! Once a player is in the program, they will have first rights to renew for the next season.

This program will offer a year-long commitment and provide off-court coaching support before and after competition and when possible, at tournament sites during competition. In addition, weekday sessions will include specific tennis fitness training from 7:30 to 8:00pm. Maximum 8 per group, 2 coaches. It is recommended that players participating in this program train in a minimum of 2 sessions weekly.

Training times: Mondays and Wednesdays, 6pm to 8:00pm, Saturdays 8:30am to 10:30am

Non-training dates; October 14th, November 11th due to statutory holidays

In your application email, please designate which training days you are requesting. Training spots on each day are limited, so please submit your application early! Tennis Director Russ Hartley, Head Professional Sean Hartley and Club Professional Robert Bettauer will review your submission to select and form each training group.

In the event a junior selected to the squad is not meeting the criteria during the year, the Tennis Director and Head Professional reserve the right to remove the player from the program.
