2017 Bear Mountain Canada Cup [XCO #1/Junior Series]

The UCI Bear Mountain Canada Cup XC is back, with a better race course, more UCI points, and more prize money. Racers from various age groups and abilities will test their strength, endurance, and technical abilities on Bear Mountain’s pristine trail system. The highlight of the event will be watching Olympic Bronze Medallist Catharine Pendrel race as defending champion. Other big names attending will include Emily Batty, Raph Gagne, Geoff Kabush, Andrew L’esperance, Haley Smith, and Evan Guthrie.

The Course
Hosted in partnership between Cycling Canada, Cycling BC and Bear Mountain Resort, the 2017 Bear Mountain Canada Cup XC is sanctioned by the International Cycling Union.
The Canada Cup series is designed to provide competitive opportunities to the next generation of cyclists, transitioning from provincial race series to international competitions.
