CPR-C Course

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) trains rescuers in the skills and knowledge needed to assess and provide basic life support to patients with airway, breathing, or circulatory emergencies as well an awareness of the risk factors that contribute to heart disease.

CPR-C is the recognized course for health care professionals and lifeguards! In this 6 hour certification course, candidates will learn:

  • Principles of first aid
  • Use of barrier devices and how to call EMS
  • Adult, child and infant CPR skills and AED use
  • 2 rescuer CPR and AED procedures
  • Adult, child and infant conscious and unconscious choking procedures
  • Circulatory emergencies to include recognition and treatment of a heart attack, angina, stroke and TIA

We have all heard these terms, or heard of “magic” weight loss remedies before. Playing around with “diets” is common and its even more common to fall off track with them because half way through what you thought was claimed to work, you hear of something else claiming completely different!

It’s hard enough already fitting everything in your diet that one needs as far as real nutrition goes. So, that being said, what do we really need to be healthy, active humans? And what do our bodies need to function? Enter “macronutrients!” Finding what works for your body as an individual is hard, but it works once you find that happy balance! Learn how to eat for YOU and eating with or as the seasons change as your bodies do!

*All drop-in guests must adhere to posted lifeguarding hours stated, hours are subject to change based on lifeguard availability and weather. Please bring your own locks for the lockers.*
