Doug Hastie

Doug began his golf career at The National Golf Club of Canada where he was mentored by George Knudsen and Ben Kern, both highly regarded players and teachers. He led golf academies at Westwood Plateau G.C., and Musqueam G.C. before coming to the island in 2009 to manage Highland Pacific Golf Course.

Doug has taught golf for over 24 years. His focus is on how people learn and customizing the lesson based on the students’ needs and goals. He looks forward to sharing his passion and knowledge and helping everyone have an enjoyable experience on the practice tee and golf course.

Cailean Hourigan

Cailean began playing golf at age nine as a junior member at Blue Ocean Golf Club located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in British Columbia. Cailean worked at Blue Ocean Golf Club and Sunshine Coast Golf & Country Club throughout his high school years. This is where he developed his knowledge and passion for the game that he carries with him today.

Cailean is a graduate of the Professional Golf Management program at Camosun College here in Victoria.

Justin Ford

Justin Ford started playing the game at age 10 at Southwood Golf and Country Club in Winnipeg. He turned professional in 2012 and started his career as the Assistant Professional at Niakawa Country Club. Before turning professional Justin played college golf at Warner University (NAIA) in Florida and at Camosun College here in Victoria.
Justin is a graduate of the Professional Golf Management program at Camosun College as well an Advance Diploma in Business Management.
